Animascope is here again with fresh animated graduation movies from Budapest Metropolitan University.

Animation-loving audience is welcomed to the screening organized at Urania National Film Theatre, including films created by both Bachelor and Master graduate students.
The selection, as usual, is targeted at youth and adult audiences, showing a wide range of animation genres and visual styles, sharing diverse thoughts, emotions, and cogitations. Seeing the movies for the first time on big screen means a special experience even for the creators, especially if they can share it with an expert audience.
Both Hungarian and English program student works are featured in the lineup, highlighting the university’s diverse creative output. Besides the directors it is very important to highlight the crew members as well, whose contribution to the creative process was indispensable.
 
The movies will be screen with English subtitles.
 
The screening is suitable for ages 16 and up.

Opening hours: Summer opening hours from June 26 to August 28, 2025! During this period, the box office opens on weekdays at 4:30 PM, on weekends at 10:30 AM.
Box office closes 15 minutes after the start of the last screening.
The Uránia Café is open during the opening hours of the cinema.
