Fed up with the Basque Country, Mikel accepts a job offer from a relative and emigrates to Argentina, where he finds a community of Basque descendants who idolize him for coming from the land they so idealize.

Mikel está en el paro, su novia lo ha dejado por otro y está harto de vivir en Euskadi. Por eso, acepta la propuesta de un primo segundo para irse a trabajar a un pequeño y remoto pueblo de Argentina. Sin embargo, cuando Mikel llega, se encuentra con algo inesperado: ha llegado a una pequeña Euskadi habitada por argentinos que nunca han pisado la tierra de sus antepasados pero que la viven con pasión y de manera idealizada viendo en él a un „Súper Vasco”. Trabajo no hay y su tía, que despierta del coma, cree que Mikel es su hermano. A partir de ese momento, Mikel se ve atrapado en un País Vasco imaginario en medio de Argentina.
