Our film theatre, refurbished in 2002, impressively amalgamates the features of the Venetian Gothic, the Italian Renaissance, and the Arabian Moor architecture styles. The historic film theatre dating back 120 years is a frequently visited cultural venue of Budapest where the state-of-the-art sound and vision equipment guarantees a successful event.
The Main Hall that can accommodate 460 people (in case of film screenings, 425 people) is an exclusive venue for closed and public shows, presentations, festivals, company events, conferences, professional days, and trainings. Our two chamber halls holding 46 persons each are on level minus 1. The Uránia Café is an ideal place for receptions, literary nights, exhibitions, and book presentations.
When visiting Hungary, Terry Gilliam called Uránia Europe’s most beautiful cinema.
In addition to the fascinating beauty of the building, our helpful and professional staff is at our client’s disposal.
